I suppose this part isn’t massively important, as the blog posts are what I really want you to read, so let’s keep this short and brief!

I am a Data Scientist working for a data consultancy in the Midlands called Purple Frog Systems. I have been working in the data world for the last 6 years of my life after completing my masters degree in Statistics for Computational Biology. I spent most of this time doing quantitative analysis for a large life and pensions provider.

I am passionate in the use of the Microsoft Tech stack, with a lot of my work being done through the medium of Azure via synapse analytics, ML studio and Cognitive services. My technical skills lie mostly in Python and R programming, but I have become well versed in Spark over the last 2 years.
